AC COIN & SLOT HELPS MISSISSIPPI-BASED EMPLOYEES DISPLACED BY HURRICANES KATRINA, RITA

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (October 5, 2005) Due to the damaging effects of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, AC Coin & Slot, one of the largest privately held slot machine manufacturers and casino supply companies in North America, is in the process of relocating its sales and technician employees who lived and worked in the Biloxi, Mississippi area to its Las Vegas and Reno locations.

“While our Biloxi office sustained little damage, a number of our employees lost their homes or could not return to their homes,” says Chris Strano, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the New Jersey based company. “Being a family-owned company, AC Coin & Slot is also a family-oriented company, so not only did we continue to pay our employees and maintain all their benefits from the time the hurricane hit the area, we now also want to provide continued opportunity and shelter for our employees who have suffered through this terrible disaster.

“Consequently, we will be moving our two Mississippi-based sales executives, Jim Van Alstyne and Ashlee Jordan, to our Las Vegas sales office,” Strano continues. “Former Mississippi-based technician David Russell is now working out of our Las Vegas service office, and we're in the process of moving our Mississippi parts person, Wes Wescovich, there to work with the Manufacturing/Service Parts group. Our Biloxi area lead service technician, Nick Knight, has moved into a key management role in our new Reno Manufacturing Facility.

Other transitions include Southern Region Service Manager Kristi Grant and Service Coordinator Amy Williams who will be heading to Las Vegas to work with the Las Vegas Service group and our Centralized Service Center located there. Kristi will continue to manage the Southern Region's needs as the area begins to recover, in addition to assisting in a management capacity in Las Vegas until such time as the demands in Mississippi and Louisiana dictate her management priorities,” Strano concludes.
