Slot Technology Study Program Gets Boost From Leading Slot Machine Manufacturer

PLEASANTVILLE, NJ?MARCH 29, 2002? AC Coin & Slot, exclusive distributor of IGT gaming devices in Atlantic City and the Caribbean, and one of the country?s leading slot machine manufacturers and casino supply companies, has donated 12 slot machine games to the Slot Technology Program of Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCC) & the Casino Career Institute. This will allow students hands-on experience in the study of slot technology.  AC Coin & Slot  also offered two apprenticeships to the college?s students to better familiarize them with the inner workings of gaming technology and what it takes to become a slot technician. 

     ?It?s given us great pleasure to have had such a longstanding relationship with the College and CCI,? says AC Coin & Slot Founder and President Mac Seelig.  ?Some of our employees have come out of the ACCC?s Technology Program and we?re very proud of their accomplishments.  Our recent  donation of 12 video games will allow students an inside look at what it takes to be a slot technician in today?s gaming industry and hopefully spur their creativity to provide the industry with better product.?

     According to ACCC Slot Instructor Tom Giadina, the partnership with AC Coin & Slot has been both mutually beneficial and a great success with the students.  ?We?ve been very lucky to have such great support from AC Coin & Slot over the past 20 years,? Giadina says.  ?ACCC has been teaching slot technology since 1978 when AC Coin & Slot began to support us with both financial and technological support.  We?re very happy to see our students succeed in the gaming industry because of this great relationship and we?re proud of those students who have joined the staff at AC Coin & Slot.  We look forward to continuing our work together.?
